Download official data · Read data limitations. Burglary is part of property crime; do not add them together. These are reported offense counts, not an individual’s risk or a guarantee of safety. Population-based rates are omitted because this file does not supply a matching population denominator. Reporting definitions and completeness can affect comparisons.
Utilities, rebates and home-improvement resources
Use the providers on your own bills. City names and ZIP codes can cross service boundaries; the links below are resources to check, not a guarantee that every provider serves every property in Beverly Hills.
| Provider | Official resource | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Southern California Edison | Programs, savings and rebate information | Rebate and marketplace resources for eligible SCE customers; confirm qualifying products and account rules. |
| SoCalGas | Programs, savings and rebate information | Natural-gas efficiency rebates and savings resources for eligible accounts. |
California homeowner and renter energy resources · Regional water rebate resources
Confirm current funding, qualifying products, utility-account eligibility and approval requirements before purchasing equipment or starting work. Some programs require a reservation first. These energy and water resources do not establish eligibility for an alarm-system rebate. Program links reviewed October 13, 2026.
A Beverly Hills security plan should reflect the actual property: its entrances, gates, garage, guest areas and the people who regularly need access. ALARM21 can help homeowners review existing equipment, identify important entry points and discuss professional monitoring.

Security Planning for Beverly Hills Properties
Larger homes may have several exterior doors, multiple levels, attached or detached garages, service entrances and separate guest spaces. Walk through every regularly used entrance before choosing equipment. A system designed only around the front door may leave other frequently used openings overlooked.
For gated properties, decide whether the gate, driveway, main residence and secondary structures require separate coverage. Building materials and distance can affect wireless communication, so detached structures should be evaluated before installation.
Door and window sensors report selected openings. Motion detectors cover designated interior areas and should be positioned with pets, sunlight, heating vents and normal household movement in mind. Cameras, smoke/CO devices, water sensors and home-automation features require compatible equipment and may be quoted separately.
Household Staff, Guests and Temporary Access
If family members, household employees, caregivers or contractors require access, avoid sharing one permanent alarm code with everyone. Ask whether your system supports separate authorized users and review access when a person no longer needs it.
Never place alarm codes, passwords or gate credentials in delivery instructions. Do not share them through the ALARM21 Assistant.
Existing Systems and Renovations
If the property already has alarm equipment, identify the manufacturer and model before replacing it. Some components may be reusable, while others may not be compatible with a new system or monitoring service.
Renovations, new doors, converted garages and guest-house construction can change the original security plan. Arrange another review whenever the property layout changes.
Power and Communication
Ask how the system communicates with the monitoring center and what happens during a power, internet or cellular interruption. Battery backup has a limited operating time, and cellular service requires compatible equipment, active service and adequate coverage.
